You can do strength training with barbells, dumbbells and resistance bands to get the muscle mass you need. I personally use weights of 5 and 10 lbs and find that low weight and high reps is good for cardio.

Don't Leave Out Carbohydrates

Your body needs carbohydrates in order to build muscle mass but you don't want to go overboard when eating them. Carbohydrates give your body the energy it needs so that you'll be able to exercise better without burning out due to fatigue. It is best to consume carbohydrates before your workouts for the best results. The main thing you will need is a high protein diet.

Take Muscle Building Supplements As A Last Resort

In addition to diet and exercise, you may want to take muscle building supplements daily or every few days. These supplements contain natural herbs and extracts that have been proven to assist with building muscle mass and achieving weight loss.
